Found a weird and incredibly creepy game today.

As I was looking up old games from the 2016 March "hack", with John Doe and all those dumb hoaxes, I came along a weird game titled, "MIND HEIST".

The game seems to be tied with MUGEN, an odd group with some pretty eerie but cool games, but the rock that stands next to the portal says pretty peculiar stuff. If you go through the portal, it takes you to the lobby for MUGEN, where you can play any of their games. Seems to be more of an advert for it, but I'm still confused about what the stuff the rock says. Stuff about learning the truth, and making sure you listen to him.

He also gives hints to stuff around the map, but I really don't have to time to scour around and listen to find what he says to. If you want to take a look at this weird place, here's the link. https://web.roblox.com/games/345226092/MIND-HEIST

It also was latest updated today (reason why I found it), even though being made on the 18th of January, 2016. 2 Months before the "hacking" of all of roblox. Pretty weird mystery if you ask me.

I decided to check it out. Time to myth hunting again, something I haven't done in a while.

When you join, you are immediately taken into a wooden boardwalk-thingie. To get through it, you need to jump over rusty railings to get to the main thing. On the way, you'll encounter avatars of John Doe and 1x1x1x1, which do nothing.

When you get pass it, you'll see a blue ball and a portal.

Going through this portal will take you to the main hub of MUGEN. Other than that, this is the only thing related to MUGEN.

Behind them is a building, right behind it is a sign telling you solve Victim's 1 case and to go below the baseplate and into another part of the building. You'll see another sign that looks like this.

No I don't know what to do.

The rest of the game is littered with free models and other random crap. It sometimes look like something that would've showed up in a game called "Who Killed John Doe Obby Obby Obby Obby"

There's also a gun you can find from a dead Roblox avatar, but good luck trying to find a use for it other than shooting at nothing.

Conclusion:
This seems to be a game made to be scary and not to contribute to any lore surrounding MUGEN. The most significant thing in this game is the code on the sign, which might be useful in another game, but not here. I feel like MUGEN was only slapped onto here is because they're a spooky Roblox thing like John Doe and 1x1x1x1. In terms of being scary, it fails for me since I can't treat things like John Doe bleeding on the ground or speaking non-sense as unsettling, just ridiculous. The only scary part of my whole experience in this game is when the dev shut down the server I was in to push an update I assume.

Verdict This game is not really connected to MUGEN

Final comments: I want "Who Killed John Doe Obby" to be a real obby.

tl;dr The game has little to do with MUGEN and seems to be made to give people a cheap scare.

this is good feedback, seems to be a meshpile of FMs but I tried digging for whatever that jumble of numbers was.

I'm pretty sure its some sort of link, or a post of something but I can't seem to figure it out yet.

And yes it seems the game has updated today, but I also can't tell what was updated.

Pretty sure the MUGEN stuff is just a façade, looks like the only thing related to it is the description and the free model that's in the center of the lobby. But, its been changed to say different stuff it seems, as it seems very based on the map instead of just to MUGEN.

Ok, I found the path.

Through trial and error, along with using the game's landmarks to know when to turn, I end up in this little area.
Image

Following this little path will bring you nowhere, but then there will be a square not covered in black stone on the path. Below it is a walk-through wall that'll take you to a secret area. This walk-through wall is hard to access since it's not on ground level, requiring you to jump into it. Messing up this jump will require you to restart from the beginning, as there are no way to get back up.
Image

Going through the wall will take you into this little area with a tree of eyes. These eyes will keep looking at you for the entire time. When you touch the tree, you get the "EYES" badge, telling you that you've solved the puzzle.

I honestly see nothing of worth here other than the relief that this is over.

Overall, there is nothing crazy about this game. This is a simple game with a puzzle that practically tells you nothing. My verdict remains the same.
